It’s going to be another beautiful and WARM Autumn weekend, and we’re here for it! If you’re going to be near Saugatuck this weekend (or Fennville South Haven, Covert, etc.) — anywhere on the coast — you’re sure to want to know about these fun events!
Friends of the Blue Star Trail Harvest Ride
Every year Friends of the Blue Star Trail hosts a bike ride fundraiser. Oh, but it’s way more than just a bike ride. Choose your route (starting in either South Haven or Douglas) and grab a friend (next year, if you didn’t register in time for this year’s ride!) and enjoy a ride for ALL your senses (and for a good cause!). There are pre-planned stops for people of all ages at local wineries, cider mills, family farms, orchards, and art studios. Some of the stops are
Bumbleberry Acres,
Cogdal Vineyards,
Fenn Valley Winery,
McIntosh Apple Orchards and Winery,
Overhiser Orchards,
Ridley Family Farm,
Virtue Cider,
Summerhouse Lavender Farm,
Modales Winery,
Fieldsview Farm,
Michigan Wine Co.,
Brush’s Farm Market,
Artist Dawn Soltysiak at Khnemu Studio,
Artist Jane Feldott at Lakeshore Drive Arts,
and Dawn Stafford at Peachbelt Studio.
Routes range from 15 to 62 miles. Find out details more about the 11th Annual ride here.
